Nice setups everyone, gives me a lot of ideas on how to improve mine. I took a closer photo of my hardware setup seeing as it's not very clear. All consoles are hooked up ready to go, baskets have extra controllers and accessories. Everything that can run rgb runs through a manual scart switch and converts to component for the Trinitron. I also have a composite switch for all my lower quality sources. I run all of those into a shinybow splitter which also acts as an easy breakout box for all my inputs. The photo doesn't make it clear but the picture on the Trinitron is amazing, ever since I got it I've had no desire to run a pvm because it looks so sharp already. If I didn't move from a modern display down to a crt I wouldn't have bothered with rgb either. My biggest problem with the setup is how much empty space there is, shelves could easily fit double the consoles but of course ikea doesn't sell the removable inserts in Australia, just permanent glass ones. Ideally I'd have all my hardware on the left, remove the second shelf and pop a second crt sideways on the right and get into some arcade shmups. I also need to get a neo geo and turbo graphx.
