I draw on a cheap thirty dollar PenPad and use either Clip Studio if I’m feeling fancy or an old version of MyPaint for sketches (free).

If you need a reference find a waifu you like on Danbooru to copy and or watch some artist people in yiutube or twitch.

Yeah Purgatori is a big reason why I like Quake II. The original source comic is ok but the character design ported into the game is what i first found.
