Fuck yeah, Guardian Legend.
Pretty unconventional for a Zelda-like, replacing your typical dungeons w/ shmup sections. And the music's killer.

Would you say the term "retro" only applies to the age of a videogame/console, or do you think it's more about the way games were once designed? I personally believe it's about the way games were designed in their respective eras, but at the same time I believe we should make certain exceptions for slightly more modern games and consoles, mainly the GBA.

Oh. Apparently the game's 25th anniversary came and went back in February.

With Compile and Broderbund defunct, I wonder who has rights to the IP? Someone needs to get that shit and give the game a sequel or remake or something. Hell, I'd even settle for a proper VC release on Wii U.
