The sprites and animations are looking much better, though you'll want to cut a few frames as the weapon kicks up. It should be faster as it goes up, then have it come back to a rest a little slower to help sell the power of the weapon.

I do kinda wish I could make things a little more balanced, but I guess that's where the proper knightmare mode will come in, because yeah I enjoy how combat flows for both heroes right now and I don't wanna fuck that up too much. Kustam's gonna have a weird flow to his combat when I get started on him, but his rifle is gonna be capable of one-shotting lower tier monsters so that's gonna be fun to watch how it pans out. His heat mechanics are gonna be a lot of fun too.
