There's some weirdly licensed games out there.
I mean shit like Cy Girls which is based on a series of action figures.
Another weird one is Ace Lightning also for the PS2 which is based on an in-universe game-within-a-show of a kids tv show.
The Mission for PS1 is based on a 90-second Nike ad.

Why is this game so fucking slow? It’s like the ninja chick has to pause briefly before she does anything, and her jump arcs take so long to complete. The game on the whole doesn’t seem badly designed, but everything feels like it’s underwater. Konami generally knew what they were doing back then, so what happened here?
