-What is your /vr/dict on Turrican Anthology? I saw a live stream showing off all the features, it looks like they went out of the way to make them as player friendly as possible by giving optional cheats and optional maps.
-I mostly owned NES and Famiclone games in Latin America in the '80s and '90s, my first real exposure to Turrican was seeing articles about it on old magazines from good ol' Spain being imported to my third gen shithole.
-Their articles left a good impression, and then when I finally had emulation to try them, I was really into their cold, future, mecha, alien, etc. I was not surprised when these were the same people who made that GB port of Contra III.
-I know these games are the pure essence of what it means to play Eurojank, but I like how they look and sound across different systems. So if I were an American or Europoor with little Turrican know how, I would get or buy this set.
-They did not just slap roms on this anthology, they came up with emulation filters, resolution modes, original and arranged sound. Any bell and whistle you can think of was used. I would suck dick for this if I did not own both volumes.
-P.S. They also use English, French, Spanish, German, and Italian language option, but who gives a shit about story on a maze gun 'n' run? Go and shoot every thing you can see. Pump up the volume in original music for best result.
