So now you are resorting to name calling. Nice.

Look at the 5v pin of this power connector (2nd pin from left to right). This unit had the modchip power cable wedged in between the motherboard pin and the connectors metal part.

You'll see that the metal of the connector doesn't reach as far as the other connectors anymore. It was bent out of shape by the copper wire that was never meant to be stuck in there. As a result, the metal connector will not always make proper connection to the motherboard pin, and the board may randomly lose power.

So yes, "putting it in the connector" IS bad.
