I heard nothing but praise for FF6 when its following game came out. People like OP have FF6 praise for being more than the sum of its parts. When I make these critiques, people say I'M being autistic. I'm going to throw you a bone because for some reason I'm being nice.

If you WANT a game to have a lot of cutscenes, fine. In fact, I've played my share of games that are cutscene heavy.

There's a difference between a game and a fucking movie. A game should be interactive. If control is taken away, I might as well watch a movie. Movies are better at telling visual narratives than games.
