Do you guys have any recommendations for any Adventure games? Specifically, I'm looking for a story on par with I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream. Not exactly mindblowing, I know, but at least they got the whole symbolism thing right, and I'm a sucker for stories about consciousness.
Any suggestions? Shoot, I'll take anything with a nice creepy/surreal atmosphere too. Bonus points if I can play it on my PSP or Wii.

I've only been watching the two best friends, but this game is absolutely brilliant in the writing department. AM wanted benny to do everything benny did, only expecting benny to try and eat the kid during the sacrifice. do you see what I mean? AM was going to force this man to make amends with all his past guilts and swear innocence to them and then try to eat a child and watch the child be melted into plastic. it's fucking brilliant

'95, but an amazing experience

Hey /vr/, I am a huge fan of classic graphic adventures and I finally got around playing I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream and I really liked it storywise.

The puzzle mechanics are sometimes a bit messy and the animation is sometimes pretty sloppy but the artwork, the dialogue and the overall ideas and themes which they touched here really impressed me.

Yet there are several things just implied in the game and left open for interpretation (I haven't read the related short story, though, which might explain certain things) so I'd like to discuss some "mysteries" of the game with you. Anyone IHNMAIMS experts here=

ok, i'm at the end of this game.
and i have to say - it's one of the best written,clever scenarios i've ever winessed.
what are other /vr/games so immersive/creepy/well-thought ?
extra points if dos-only (i can not emulate windows right now) , but console games are welcome as well.
