And since characters are bound by the same rules you are, they also give you gifts, they propose trading things to you, as well as ask you who are you in love with. They can ask you to help them in their work (several types of work available), or help them train.

Also as previously mentioned you have stats: physical, energy, intelligence, athleticism and even attractiveness.
All of which can be increased by training them, and all of which has different effects.

**Physical and energy - The more you have, the more you can do things like work, train and study without getting tired or having to eat.

Physical stat *alters* your damage during battle in both tank(mech) mode and as scout.
Energy stat influences your energy during battle as well, as each action requires energy to be pulled off. The more you have of these two the better off you are fighting, and just about everything else.

**Intelligence : This affects how well you can learn skills that requires studying.

Note: I cannot afford going into every single skill there is, even in this thread. There are many of them and each has their own effects, both in battle mode and school mode.

Athleticism: Influences mostly battle mode, it alters your attack, defense and evasion.

Attractiveness: Influences suggestion success rate, and the amount of points to friendship bar and romance bar you give.

Morale: The more morale you have, the more serious the NPCs around you will be around you. They will work harder if you have high morale, and they will work not as efficiently if you have low morale. This also applies to battle mode.

Note*** Training with characters with high X stats will give more points when training with them (asking a character to train with you is a possible suggestion).

OP here. I gave up on the third battle. It was too hard and I wasn't prepared.

I regret it so hard. What makes the game trigger it? Is it even possible on the first playthrough?

God damn it, I still have a save back from a few days ago, is there anyway to avoid this event from triggering?

How does Mai trigger this event? I'm pondering restarting the save or just hold on for another playthrough.
