I like them. I remember my friend had a master system and as a kid I always wondered why his Sonic games looked weird.

also does sonic Pocket Adventure fit in the 8 bit bracket? It's awesome. A way better mashup than Sonic 4.

You'll be able to do it. I can't even do Contra without cheating and I've beaten it. Maybe play the Master System version before the Game Gear
