Having literally just replayed the game the only parts that really drag obnoxiously are the final wolf section and the stupid quest to get the sky cannon. Some of the padding is slow and annoying but it's still kind of fun.

The only really bad problem the game has is not being able to pass or manipulate time in any way. The day cycle is like fucking half an hour long and I very frequently found myself with nothing to do but wait for like 10 minutes to enter a house in the morning or to wait for night to make poes spawn.
