Man I am fucking lost in Marathon 2. It's got to only be the second or third mission, theres this doorway cut out of above water, you go up there and flip a switch and come back down in the water. There is some swimming parts too. But I don't know what the fuck to do now I feel like I am going in circles. Do I have to go all the way back to the beginning of the map and use that computer to talk to the AI again or do you find another one? This is the first Marathon game I have played I don't know if backtracking like that is common or I am just retarded

If A1 had a decent map editor, there would probably be a lot more content coming out. Weland is clearly unfinished but Forge requires Mac OS to use which is a major barrier to entry. Emulating OS 9 is difficult too since there's not a lot of documentation available.

Doubtful. I believe IPs get revived when there's a lot of name recognition and nostalgia. Marathon has always been unpopular. It would be very odd to see it get a reboot.
