You know that there's a 'focus' potentiometer on the flyback transformer or neck board of most CRT's? You fix CONVERGENCE with the yoke, not focus.

If you meant convergence and not focus, you should aim for convergence in the center and worry about the sides last. Those are easier fixed with the rings on the neck.

Pictured: what I used to glue the yoke back down after I was done with it when I fixed the convergence on my 20L5.
