actually, they never developed any of their games. they were just the publisher. they relegated the jobs of developing their games to some obscure, unaccredited developer in the states.
either their standards were not that great, being that they were a toy company that didn't really know anything about games, or they knew the extent to which games sucked & sold them anyway, thinking children were dumb.
but some of the pirates in china, taiwan, & hongkong knew what they were doing.
i don't really know what excuse ljn think they can muster

after watching kinaman's videos on youtube,
i came to the idea that russian had it pretty rough when it came to video games in the late 80's & early 90's.
having to deal w/ 1000' of pirated titles & ports for the dendy, nonsense labels & stickers for games, & up to 5 different games claiming to be the official version.
but i also learned that some of the pirated versions of the games they had were superior to the licensed versions, like w/ the lion king.
this shit is kind of blowing my mind
