It was already merged, but the vastly superior revenant replacement sprites that have been sitting there since October (last March if you count the larger sprites. pic related) weren't, for some fucking reason, nor the dinosaur baron from January of 2020. I like a lot of the assets in Freedoom, but I don't think it will ever be coherent under its current leadership if they let high-quality submissions just sit there like this.

So replace the ugly sprites with better ones from the community. Hell, there are even some better ones that have been submitted to the project, but not added for some reason or another.
Unless you meant textures in which case, fuck off.

I'll give you a list of the ones that I think still need work, as of the latest submissions:
Mancubus (fine design, but needs better realized detail, especially the cannons)
Lost Soul (old sprite and too similar to its doom equivalent)
Pain Elemental (lol ball of lost souls)
Spider Mastermind (ugly obvious model rip)
Wolf SS (mierda)
Vile (needs a shading touch-up and rotations on its attack and res frames)

Another fault of Freedoom is that it doesn't do public releases frequently enough, so updates to old assets get missed out on by the public for long stretches at a time. New high-quality Revenant, Baron, and Chaingunner sprites are in various stages of github limbo, for instance.
