>I'm not baiting anyone, I'm starting to regret posting here , /vr/ isn't as nice as I thought it would be.

Oh please. You're either ungodly oblivious or baiting. Those are the options. The only reason to own a PVC is for clarity on consoles. Emulation can obtain this without such a need. You say you got a SNES classic which is why you don't need one. Let's analyze that for a second...

1.) The game you show is Tetris Attack, which isn't even *on* the SNES classic.

2.) Emulators introduce latency, which I assume is what you were trying to avoid since you clearly don't get point number...

3.) CRT's display SNES (and other games of the era) correctly. They were designed specifically with CRT's in mind. To say that you no longer need your PVC because you have a Reddit HDMI box means you clearly don't care about this, so whatever. Moving on.

5.) There are some important games that the SNES classic cannot play thanks to enhancement chips. Using this as a replacement for a flash cart or emulator is not only ignorant, but out right stupid.

6.) Your initial post had literally zero arguments for why said solution would be superior (likely because none could be made)

7.) Get the fuck off my board.

I'll make you feel bad about yourself over a videogame. Get on IRC and call yourself a fag; I'll be waiting.

>Kind of makes me want to come out retirement
You retired from a hobby, or from being a decent person?

We all know these posts are going to be deleted anyway.

Fighting games were never an emperor. It's just that all other competitive vidya communities were as bad or even worse back in 90s.

And the moment Carmack gave his ferrari away for that quake tournament was the moment fighting games lost any chances to be called "number one competitive game".

Quake was bigger. Starcraft was bigger. CS1.6 was bigger. Etc.

Japan is obvious exception
