IM GUNNA COOM! NO its not OKAY. Would you want to buy used electronics that have been violated and have 8bitguy coom stains? Good as NEW? No its fake as fuck. ((cleaning)) always ruins the history and patina of an item. There is a reason you dont clean coins because it ruins their value. Dont remove old blockbuster stickers because most likely you will ruin the plastic or label and have to print a FAKE one to replace it. Original hardware mods are cringe as fuck because most people suck at modding and it ends up as gore. Just leave it alone. If it aint broke dont fucking fix it. Prices for old hardware is already outrageous. There is a finite amount of these rare items so dont ruin them.
