It's 22 levels.
It's not that bad.

In comparison DN3D had 28-29 levels, depending if you count Faces of Death, and that includes very small gimmicky secret levels like Spin Cycle, Lunatric Fringe, Tier Drops, and let's not forget about short and simple Stadium also is. In comparison, in SW each level has worthy length and there is no small gimmicky levels.

Powerslave has 20 single player levels.

Redneck Rampage only had 15 levels.
Its sequel only 14 iirc.

Blood had more levels but they're less detailed.

All in all SW fared pretty well.

i dunno why people seem to think ss2 is cyberpunk it's really just straight up sci-fi / horror
ss1 on the otherhand oozes cyberpunk
same with tekwar but I wouldnt call it a good game
circuts edge is good too
