And for the first one, probably Rayman Gold on PC.

Why is the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2 considered the definite version and not Rayman Revolution on PS2?

Rayman Revolution has more content (including a hub world), levels that are significantly more detailed (big increase in polygons) and far more sophisticated lighting.

The only advantage I see for Rayman 2 on Dreamcast is that it runs at 60fps instead of 30fps, and the occasional texture looks better.

Do you really need 60fps for a platforming game like Rayman? Wouldn't better content and better graphics overall tip the scales in favor of PS2's Revolution?

Is the Dreamcast version's better reputation just another case of Sega fans attempt to artificially pump up the console at the expense of PS2 in light of its tragic end?

>want to play Rayman 2
>hear the Dreamcast version is best
>start the game
>runs at 60 FPS
>however, the character models don't have enough frames to compensate
I mean, yeah, it runs good, but it just looks really sloppy and it's pretty jarring. What's another version of the game that's good?
