I always wondered, why the horns?
I've seen people theorize that it's a sort of "disguise" so the other animals wouldn't realize the player is a human.
I've also read theories that it means the player is dead
I like the horn hat, but I always wondered what's the meaning, if any.

inb4 people get mad and start reporting the thread as not-retro because OP used a picture of the Gamecube port.
but yes, it is the comfiest retro game, and non of its non-retro sequels reached the same levels of comfiness.

I'm actually glad this game belongs to /vr/ territory, even if most westerners didn't play it on retro systems, it is definitely a retro game. It does have some sort of "final days of retro gaming" feel to it.

Janny, Animal Forest/Crossing is /vr/. The GC game is literally a port with a few extras, but the core game is the same.
