I've got my own weird headcanon for when I play mods, but that's largely for gameplay mods. I get it, but there is a not too hard and not too retarded way of doing this.

As a start: it's not always doomguy himself but other people in his place with a similar skillset.

Second: TC's aren't in the same universe.
