I own a color calibration unit that I use for PC monitors. I wouldn't bother with a CRT TV unless you are a mega autist. My reason for using something like this is so that any photo editing matches the exact output of your prints. For a gaming CRT that is not used in any semi-professional or fake-professional aspect, I would have to agree with

Adjust it so it looks good, and don't worry about a machine telling you it is perfect.
