I have several projects in limbo at the moment. most of them waiting on various bits and pieces coming from china.
Off the top of my head I have
>scph-1000 ps1 that wont spin CDs. both the original laser unit and the known working one I used only showed activity in the laser itself. the spindle motor would only make a single click on startup and never actually begin spinning
>Sega Master System 2 with severe ghosting issues. Needs recapping
>Japanese Sega Saturn with a sanyo CD drive that absolutely refuses to acknowledge the existence of either of the Phantom Universal modchips I tried installing.
>PC engine duo with a failing CD drive that can take 20 minutes to load a game. Probably just needs a slight potentiometer tweak
>Sinclair ZX Spectrum +2 that won't accept add-on cartridges. Needs a new z80 CPU, but desoldering it will be a huge pain in the ass so I've been putting it off for a while.
>a Madcatz original Xbox controller with a broken trace somewhere that causes the left stick to always register as being maximally forward and left
and lastly
>a GBA cartridge for Mario Cart Super Circuit that can't save anymore. No battery inside so I guess whatever flash memory it had for saving had been overwritten so many times that it just died. no idea where to start on this one

I just started playing this game today! What the FUCK am I doing/supposed to do? I don't get it at all!

am I stupid? how do I do this Doom RPG series? what the fuck is a ,.jar file and how do I run it? This readme didn't help me. I just tells me to run it? how?

OP here. I've played some Shining games, some Dragon quest games, I played the Lunar games for sega CD, I played chrono trigger and earthbound and secret of mana and I really just don't like any of them.
the modern/contemporary RPG's I really like are Wasteland 2 (yes I played wasteland 1) and I really liked those new Shadownrun games as well. I also really like Fallout 1+2 and Deus Ex, for what it's worth, but everyone likes those fucking game s

does fusion just... not play Pier Solar? I have a rom but fusion says it's too big. What do I do? I I need a different emulator?
