Anyone else want to get their hands on an XRGB Mini or OSSC?

I'm firmly in the CRT camp, but once they're gone, they're gone. I think it would be best if I got an upacaler for when I just wanna dick around in Mario Kart or something and use the CRT for full playthroughs of my favorite games. Just to try and save it fron wearing out as fast.

What's the likelihood of a 4K Framemeister once the current model is completely out of stock?

You need one of these. You also need to play around with a good chunk of televisions before you find one with minimal lag.

It personally took me about 3 tvs before I found one that has practically zero lag. It's barely noticeable. Only the most hardcore would notice. This is your only option. Run it through S-Video or Composite(Progressive Scan) and then through a Framemeister.

Your cheapest alternative is to just man up and use a CRT.

so I have a framemeister mini and since I dont have a RGB/scart hook ups on my snes yet im trying to just use components with it for the moment, but I cannot seem to get it to work. all im getting is a blue screen from the framemeister (where I can navigate the framemeister's menu) Not really sure whats going on. I know the snes works when I directly hook it up to the tv. Or does the framemeister not work with component?

I'm not gonna lie, that converter is pretty shitty. You should return it and save the money towards an XRGB Framemeister.

how much does one of these things improve the looks of your games? also if I already have a system (american) will a euro a japanese scart work with it. im 100% clueless about this.

Is there ever going to be a successor to this thing?
What would you like to see improved? personally,

I'm in the market for a BVM but I'm thinking more long term and I'm not sure what a good hour usage is. Anyone have the XRGB Mini and knows if it works well?

i've got some money to spend, should i buy one of those framemeisters for my 46 inch lcd tv or should i buy a 36 inch sony trinitron crt tv?
