1. The melody is pretty good. It's singable, with a good contour and syncopation. It's probably similar to something but if it's a direct copy I don't know it. I'd bet it's not.

2. The meter is a little fuzzy. The accompaniment seems to have the root of the chord on the downbeat, but the emphasis winds up being on the fifths at the top of the figure. This makes it feel a bit off-kilter. Some kind of introduction could help here. The first note just kind of shows up and there's no sense of the rhythm.

3. The accompaniment is also boring. Using an arpeggiated line with minimal counterpoint might make sense if you don't want to distract from the melody, but you can still use arpeggios to enhance interesting moments in the melody such as that leap around 3-4 seconds in. Changing instruments, dynamics, and articulation could also help give character to the accompaniment but it'll still be very simplistic.

Here's a short example with some tweaks. I kept 90% of the melody (not counting any mistakes I made transcribing) but rewrote the arpeggios. I also added a repetition of the little call near the end, with a modulation. I just wrapped it up in C Major which sounds a little goofy but you could go to some other key.
