I've personally never done it, so you might have to make a general dreamcast thread asking about it.

I have an American Dreamcast ( three of them) and I just play everything at 60 Hz native from the VGA box

but here's a little off-topic question, if Dreamcast outputs games from composite and S-video at 720x480

it only seems to output games at 640x480 from the VGA box.

are we losing an extra hundred pixels of information?
