Why don't fraudsters just shrink-wrap games that are mint in-box and call them sealed? It can't be that hard to shrink-wrap them in a way that matches the original machine. You don't need to be worried about what's inside because nobody's going to be opening it, just make it weight-matched and to sound the same - you could even put a Superman 64 cart in there for added insult. :D

In the unlikely event you get found out there is nothing to suggest you knew about the forgery. I assume that after a long enough amount of time that you have no more responsibility for if they find out that it's fake.
