Also, what are your favourites? Looking for more beltformers and scotpig hidden gems.

What's /vr/'s favourite DOS-ROM? You're allowed more than one, btw*. Mibe's King's Quest.

What DOS-ROMs and Amiga Apps does /vr/ recommend? I'm looking to expand my collection. The more hidden of a gem it is, the better.

The best DOS-ROM is King's Quest V.

I get invited to a lot of awesome parties with exclusively wealthy people of importance and super-attractive women, and I realize you wouldn't have a clue what that's all about, but that's besides the point. Towards 3am, when then even cooler crowd arrives (i.e. me) and the after party begins, we like to play this really fun adventure video game. Basically you take a pile of old adventure DOS-Roms like King's Quest and see how many you can stuff in your mouth at a given time, then the next party animal tries to beat that record. The winner gets to have the top 5 hottest girls there. Of course that's usually me!

Mine's Kings Quest II. They made an app version of this for the Sega System but it sucked. I heard there's a belt-scroller on the PSX2 but never seen it.

King Graham is probably the overall winner of this contest.

King's Quest started as a DOS-ROM but was ported to the SEGA System.

How come there were so many DOS-ROM adventure games like King's Quest, but none for the app consoles like the Sega and Nintendo systems or the Atari VHS?

Fortunately King's Quest V wasn't ported to a SEGA System app. Maybe if it was converted to a forward belt-scrolling flight simulator like After Burner.

We all know that the Sega Video Game System is better than the Nintendo Entertainment System.
This is because the Sega System was the only system which was able to support the portation of the famous King's Quest DOS-ROM.

Age restrictions should be placed on all DOS-ROMs, and also APP-RAMs (for mac users).
