Agreed, to be honest I became a retro gamer mid-7th generation, for some reason the whole HD cinematic thing aliniated me...

... And then came Dragon's Lair HD, aka Heavy Rain. So much technology, so much potential of making huge expansive games closer to our imagination when we played our SNES/Genesis/NES/Master System... And we're still suck with QTEs... That pretty much made me give up on modern gaming, with some exceptions (i.e. 3DS and Wii games, since those look like 6th gen... I know, it's still not retro, but it was the last generation I felt comfortable with).

You know what I also miss from older generations?

Crazy-ass box arts. Pic related.
