To be honest I've never watch Solbrain but from what I've heard the game bore little to no resemblance to the licensee it uses. Makes sense considering that in the game's data there's a name "METAL COMMANDO G1" buried in there.

Also there's an an album released in japan called "Rom Cassette Disc In NATSUME vol1" that features various Natsume tunes from their Famicom/NES & Game Boy projects, and one of those games is ShatterHand 『シャッターハンド』 - Yes, the U.S. version of the game.
