Not for nothing, playing on the Wii over component is incredible.
I have a 20" consumer Trinitron and the Wii is applied via component.
NES, SNES, Gen, GB/C, and even GBA all seem to play as good as I remember them back in the day(didn't have a Gen but it's tight and fast).
No noticeable lag issues(it's there but I'm not Spiderman so it means nothing to me).
I can beat games that require accuracy fine. It's like having the ultimate game system I'd have killed for as a kid.

What else can I want? Even if I had the original machines, I'd still use the modded Wii.
For PS1 emulation, PSP2000 over tv input(again, component) just looks godly. Especially Capcom fighters.
Play pretty good too, despite the PSP's control limits.

Yeah, none of this is spot-on accurate. So what? It still kicks ass and I have a blast. Can't ask for more.
And best of all it's CHEAP!
