I really liked this map, cool unique world and enemy textures that fit the underwater theme perfectly (replacing the Lightning gun with a trident was a nice touch as well), new underwater enemies and a Sonic style water bubble gimmick. My only complaints are that it's too short and the new super shotgun sound isn't good.

I downloaded all the maps on Quaddicted that were rated 4.0 - 5.0 but I think I need to give 3.0 maps a try once I'm done with those, this one is 3.9 anyway so close enough.

I love this so much fucking more than "metroidvania" which doesn't explain a goddamn thing about how a genre plays if the person has never played those specific games before making it useless. Compare that with First Person Shooter for example which encapsulates that genre much much better even for complete newcomers to the hobby. "Search Action" is another new term that poops all over metroidvania.
