>Have you ever played the very first version of street fighter? What was your opinion about it?
Yes. Gimmicky "graphics over gameplay" fighter that was inferior to Yie Ar Kung-Fu.

"This looks awesome! Mom, can I have a few quarters? I want to try this out"

>You were impressed by the good animation and the excellent gameplay?
Yes, but I kind of was more in awe how cool Blanka looked. In fact, I got so good at using him I could reach M. Bison with one quarter when I was only about 10/11 years old.

>What do you think about the conversions for consoles?
I thought the Sega Mega Drive version was the coolest thing, especially after having played the "Master Fighter 2" pirate famiclone chart before it. Still, having only access to a three button controller back then made me prefer the arcade version, even the vanilla one.

Can't go wrong with either SNES or the Mega Drive one, though I prefer the later because of its faster load times and speed.

>Do you like the Alpha and SFIII series?
Yes. Alpha 3 on the Dreamcast is amongst the greatest value for your buck fighters out there and I consider Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike to be the best game in the series.

>Do you think that SSFIV really brings back the good 'ol feelings that the first street fighter games had?
Not really, no. I feel it's a step back from SFIII, and I'm not completely sold on its aesthetics and musical style. It's far from a bad fighter however, but feels more like a continuation of the Alpha series than the logical step up. Also, horrible DLC and re-release practices, and most of the new characters are inconsistent with the time period it's supposed to represent.
