Personally I actually prefer the GBA's soundtrack to the DS's, and I also prefer the spritework to the lowpoly 3D models. I think the translation is better on DS, but it's a slight improvement, nothing like SNES to GBA/DS, so it doesn't make up for the other issues in my opinion. Really comes down to preference, both are fine.
