Despite the utter brilliance of the Medieval scenario, it's not the only good thing about the game. The story in Cube's scenario was brilliantly written, and I really got to feel for Huey. The atmosphere in the Western scenario was also pro. The image dialogue in the Prehistoric scenario was also really well done. Every scenario had it's own unique little thing about it that made it special, and that's what makes the game so charming.

Live-A-Live is an SNES game released exclusively in Japan only that I just can't shut up about. It doesn't have as strong a cult following as Treasure of the Rudras per say, but it's personally one of my favorite games of all time. Many Chrono Trigger feels here, and the fan translation's damn good.

Holy fuck "Contact" is fucking pissing me the fuck off so much. What was your strategy for said scenario, /vr/? I've already beaten "Secret Orders" and "The Strongest," and I thought I would check this one off next but... fuck. Seriously, the fucking grinding to get the fucking items to trade and having to reference a fucking walkthrough just to understand what to fucking trade for is fucking monotonous.
