most of what comes to mind when it comes to PS1 games is mostly just fighting games, like
Tekken 3, Rival Schools Evolution, Soul Edge, Tobal no 2, Bushido Blade 2, etc. Dino Crisis 2 has (i think) bonus costumes but also a couple of different unlockable modes including the 1-on-1 dinosaur fighting game mode. as other anon said, PS2-era i think is where you really start getting tons of unlockable stuff, like the giant krypts in the PS2 Mortal Kombat games and shit.
