this is why they say things like "Playstation has no good games", and laugh at the suggestion of Saturn being a system full of hidden gems. Imagine thinking that a system with a library so extensive like the PS1 has no good games, but the most fanatical nintendrones really think that way, they think the nogames64 is the only 6th gen console worth having because it's the one with the "classics" —AKA the games they grew up with, reinforced with positive affirmation bias from the press—. And then they go to try the acclaimed games of the "opposition" (because they see everything in terms of me vs the rest) then their tiny little minds can't adapt to games that play different from Mario 64 and Zelda. So cue all the threads about MGS, FF7, RE having aged "badly". If they can't deal with classics from other systems, trying to make them appreciate other good games that aren't as well known is an impossible mission.

I also noticed that a sizeable portion of them became anti-RARE after it was sold to Microsoft. This sentiment of Goldeneye/PD having aged badly, that DKC was never good, the fake Miyamoto quote, 64 collectatons being bad... it all appeared after the company got sold to Microsoft. Isn't an amazing coincidence? how games that were universally loved soon found hordes of detractors out of nowhere? WHO do you think is behind that? they won't simply forgive betrayal (even though it was Nintendo the one who sold them, their minds interpret facts differently). You need strict adherence to the regime or you'll be lambasted.

And then, after shitting on other systems and companies since forever, day after day, they wonder, "HOW COME somebody can harbor a negative sentiment on us? am I out of touch? no, it's everybody else who's wrong".
