Mods like that pretty much generate their own community. Guy finds mod, tells likeminded buddies about it, brings them in, etc.

Then you get shit like Zombie Horde's community.

Meh, AOW and Zombie Horde both have near-unbearable playerbases that sink any potential for fun the mods may have.

You CAN have fun, but unless you're with the like 2% of people who are competent, don't ragequit at the drop of a hat, and do things other than type angry words at each other in spanish, it's not really worth the trouble.

Besides, I can just go play real Renegade and Renegade X is just around the corner.
