I want to feel how I imagine I would have felt playing them if I had years ago. I want to revel in Doom's style and extremeness with my 12-year-old id. Or be a college student in 1994, going to LAN parties in the computer lab and working on a megawad with my friends. Or play UT with Ian McConville and Matt Boyd at the college they didn't actually go to together, or online with the people I saw hyping it up on forums when it was new, in all the time I didn't have because I was in school and forum-addicted. Stuff like that.
