I mentioned it in the /v/ thread and got dog-pilled by people saying "Why would they change a perfect game" not only completely missing the point, but also doesn't even make sense because they removed all the grit from the games atmosphere. Removed bloodstains and whatnot.

I think in general people on here get pissed when remasters fuck up the style of the game too much (Medieval becoming cartoony, getting the generic unreal 4 engine plastic look, losing all it's edge). The cut content thing just baffles me. I knew it was bad, but THIS bad. This leak is seriously eye opening.

The town also looks like complete dogshit. It went from being foreboding and creepy to bright and colorful.

I know exactly what you mean. OOT was really creepy. Even outside of the obviously creepy areas like the well, the spider house, the forest temple, etc there was just a real subtle uncannyness to it.

Too bad the remaster looks like dogshit and the pre-rendered backgrounds look fucking horrible on emulators that upscale everything. Pic related. You can see the guard and link don't fit into the background at all because of how blurry it is, and the entire atmosphere is gone in the 3ds one.
