What's your idea of a great platformer? Don't name Mario games - those are obvious. No action-platformers either, because that's not what DKC is about.

I've seen too many people say that DKC is mediocre and then name something like Plok! as an example of an AMAZING platformer. Seriously?

Most people have an irrational hatred for DKC3 just because it isn't DKC2, when it does a lot of things really well.

Anyone who thinks that DKC3 has poor level design, atmosphere, music, or lacks challenge, they should play through Razor Ridge (World 7). The end of the game is a lot better than the first few worlds which I think turns a lot of people off.
