I've recently replayed W1 and I've taken a liking to the heavy drifty controls.
As kid I couldn't wrap my head around flying Qirex, but now I can perfect lap every track.
The bouncyness is a bit silly though

While crashing feels shitty, not crashing is more exciting than in the other games.
Also I miss those long tracks that take a minute and a half.
