Now knowing there's even more Cave shooting games that are not in the Cave Shooting Collection box, it is really disappointing that I can not take advantage of the great USD to JPY rate to get Instant Brain.

They're all sealed, I just don't have the console yet. Once I can save up enough, I'll unearth them. Reading the thread here, looks like I made a huge mistake getting them on the wrong console platform since I thought I'd avoid the Playstation censorship but the input lag does bum me out on even attempting to save up for the console, so I'll probably stick to emulation.

I like their games. They even took the effort to learn to code for iPods to port their games themselves, which is pretty commendable. The only large negative I could imagine is playing their games can get costly when you are not familiar with them in arcades. At ¥100 a credit, it is pretty expensive already and that can be done in minutes.

I was hoping Sega and Nintendo would take that route too. After the last couple Sega arcade closures, I thought it was the honorable way out to just disappear holding onto the IPs for special promotions and festivals.

I paid a bit over $250USD and walked up snowy hills for the DLC to Muchi Muchi Pork; the game was worth it. The game is interesting since the game features fat girls which is pretty rare but kind of gross. Maybe regular MAME since it has been playable for a while now on it.

I tend to favor the homing shots, but if that's not available the wide shots to deal with the many popcorn enemies. Pretty much the easy-mode, which allows me to focus on dodging.

They need to delay and put that game on hold until I can afford a system. I still haven't decided on one yet. I hope amazon US will continue to have it in stock in a few years.

It could take a bit to get a good run going, but I can just play them for fun. I don't look at Cave games as grind. It is just challenge but one can always come back to them at a different time.

I don't think that time has much of a bearing on appreciation. I enjoy both the measured pace of old shooting games and the more modern bullet hell styles. The three you like there are some great games.
