Why, oh why, do people always use Ocarina of Time an an example? OoT had some of the worst textures on the N64. Compare them to these, also unfiltered.

The N64's bilinear filtering was needed for various special effects, such as shadowing. The way people get pissy about FILTERED textures annoys me. Unfiltered textures look worse, sharpness be damned.
