Star Control 2 is an amazing game and it disappoints me how other games don't have aliens as unique as the Star Control aliens.

Anyone ITT playing on Linux?
I've been trying to install it on Mageia, and even though I can SEE the package in the RPM database it still says there is no package

any ideas how to install it? desu I'm close to just dumping this distro as is.

So I finnaly finished this gem today. Great game, though the final battle was slightly dissapointing. I had much more trouble beating the defending ships than the actual Sa -Matra

Any other games like Star Control 2? And is Star Control 3 any good?
