the start has alot of cutscenes/music/voice which takes up lots of space. Also it's just seperate so you don't have to switch discs so often once you're off earth

I have A:

-Famicom N8 - very happy with it
-Super Everdrive v2 - very happy with it, maybe 2 perfect roms that don't work properly with it (FFs and translations, i've got hacks that make them work however).
-Chinese copy of Everdrive MD - never had a problem with it. Only game I couldn't get working was Phelios then with a hack It worked. Also Virtua racing of course.
-Mega Flash Rom SCC+ minisd for MSX - much easier to use on a MSX2 than MSX because of the dos interface. You sometimes have to fiddle with some commands to get games working as they should. The snatcher (not SD) translation does not currently play the SCC+ music when used on one of these.
-Action Replay 4 for Saturn. not really a flash cart but very useful.
-Genuine R4 - not retro but serves me well. Never had a game I couldn't get a patch for.

Getting a PC engine everdrive in the mail soon.
