I think there was something lost going from 15 inch CRTs to 50 inch LCD. Also I remember them being much more prevalent like at Walmart there was a small DS lite kiosk that you could download demos from using your DS(I think I download The professor Layton demo). I remember you could see them at Toys r Us, Walmart, Target and Best Buy and it would be all of the consoles currently available. These days the only kiosk I saw was for the Nintendo switch with very limited demos and a couple of trailers.

I'd like to start a discussion on how you guys obtain these,
Where if at all you find replacement parts, or just repair stuff yourself, what kind of TVs these things use etc. It is annoyingly hard to find information about stuff like this.
I can at the very least share information on the ones I own.
