So what games did you play on your home console that also had an enjoyable port to the Gameboy/GameGear? For me picture related wasn't too bad, I also enjoyed Link's Awakening, Metroid 2, Castlevania Adventure, just to name a few.

Also other handhelds are welcome to join in

I agree with you for the most part, but 2 had a better soundtrack than one.

Also props on recognizing how good 3 is, it is criminally underrated, although on a personal level I'd say 2 has a better atmosphere, but I most certainly see where you are coming from.

Also
DKL2 > DKL3 > DKL in level design
DKL > DKL2 > DKL3 in music
DKL3 > DKL2 > DKL in gameplay and overall enjoyability

Hey /vr/! Playing through the DKL series, and so far I've noticed that DKL2 is more of a indirect port of DKC2, where-as DKL had more original levels and music.
Is DKL3 the same way as DKL2? Because I am kind of disappointed in 2 so far because of the similarities, still enjoying, just wish it had more flair and variety, especially when you hear the same song again and again for 3 levels.
