Yeah, exactly.
And the concept is there - you've got 7-9 areas, and each one of them has something of value.
For example, talking about the first map, including half levels from e1 + Romero's Tech Gone Bad:

> you've got e1m1 with random marines giving you quests
> e1m2 where you find a red key, which is later used in other maps
> e1m9 where you find a marine which gives you the plasmagun
> e1m5 where you press a switch and open access to final level
> e1m6 where you find a skull key for final door

I'd love to see a hub area though.

And RPG elements
And gun-crafting
And enemy respawns
And more quests
